Social media can be so frustrating especially without a strategy. You spend a ton of time trying to figure out what to write that will attract your ideal clients. Social media platforms are constantly changing their UI and algorithms on a daily basis. To top it all off, you post content following all the social media “rules,” yet you’re still not seeing results.
We all know that social media is a necessary tool for marketing your business online. But, to be successful takes time, effort, and most of all, strategy.
As a social media strategist, it’s my job to develop and implement proven social media strategies, so my clients can build brand awareness, spread their messages, and acquire leads.
If you’re thinking of working with a strategist, like me, here’s what you can expect.

New Proven Strategy
The first thing you can obviously expect is some new content strategies. A strategist should be able to tell you based on their expertise and experience what strategies should or shouldn’t work for you. They should also be able to evaluate what strategies you’re currently using are not working.
Depending on your strategist, you should leave the call with a whole new strategy. This will help guide your content and your content creation process. I like to look at everything that goes into creating content for your business, so you can create consistently with ease and flow.
Action Steps
Strategy is a key piece to the puzzle, but action is required to start seeing results. When you’re working with a strategist, you should leave the call with next steps. You should be fully prepared to begin creating content that will attract your audience.
For me, I leave my clients with a strategy, a content calendar, and any other tools needed to get started. My mission is to make the content creation process simple, so I often give demonstrations of Hootsuite and Later – my favorite social media schedulers. See my tutorial here.
Your Social Media Questions Answered
This is an opportunity to pick the brain of someone who is working with social media consistently and has extensive knowledge of how to use it well. So, I ensure time to answer questions that my clients have, so they leave with all the information needed to succeed.
If you need questions to ask your strategist, think about how you currently use social media and what you struggle with the most. If you struggle with images, you might ask about stock photos or graphics. With captions, you might ask about content ideas. Use this time to learn, so you can be better with social media.
Now that you know what to expect on social media, it’s time to book one! Head to our contact page to get on our calendar! Let’s talk about strategy!
